Off-Campus Ministries
'Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.' -- Matthew 28:19
Off-Campus Ministries’ servant leaders and helpers share a love for God, a passion for God’s people and a profound desire to reach beyond the walls of the church to spread God’s message of love to people of all ages and circumstances. OCM offers meaningful ways to connect with God’s people:
Prayer Team – People who commit to pray weekly for OCM’s leadership, community residents and future ministry opportunities.
Apartment Ministry Teams – People who provide weekly ministry (worship, adult Bible study, youth and children’s activities, nursery care) in a multi-housing facility, such as an apartment clubhouse.
Support Team – People who facilitate special events, such as community celebrations, seasonal parties held in apartment communities and fellowship luncheons held at the LHUMC campus for OCM servant leaders.
Baking Brigade – People who provide baked goodies and casseroles for special occasions.
Bread Connection – Drivers who pick up and deliver donated bread and other non-perishables, which are distributed in the OCM communities.
What’s Hap’nin – People who photograph events and produce communications for OCM.
