THE VISION OF LAKE HIGHLANDS UMC YOUTH'S MINISTRY IS TO:
To transform the people of Lake Highlands and beyond, by Connecting through the love of Christ,
Deepening relationships with Christ, and Serving with the heart of Christ.
SUNDAY MORNING SUNDAY SCHOOL
9:35-9:45 AM Welcome gathering with Donuts and Hot Chocolate
9:45-10:40 AM Lesson
Meets in the Youth room
SUNDAY NIGHT YOUTH
6:00 - 8:00 PM
On SUNDAYS, we invite 6th-12th grade students to build friendships, share life & grow in their faith.
Sunday Night begins in fellowship over dinner. Afterwards we engage in fun activities, worship, hear a message designed to bring our worlds & faith together, break up into small groups, and close in prayer.

Mission Trips 2025
HIGH SCHOOL MISSION TRIP:
June 22-27
Ozark Mission Project (Arkansas)
Cost: $475 ($100 non-refundable deposit due at sign-up)
MIDDLE SCHOOL MISSION TRIP:
July 6-11
Blueprint Ministries (San Antonio, TX)
Cost: $550 ($100 non-refundable deposit at sign-up)
CONFIRMATION
A purposeful program that takes 6th & 7th graders through the history, practices, and beliefs of the Christian faith
from a United Methodist perspective. The class concludes with the Confirmation Service, where the 6th & 7th graders
who have chosen to be confirmed profess their faith and are confirmed into the
Christian faith and the United Methodist Church.
Class meets during the Sunday Groups hour.
